Welcome to Season 68!
The studio is ready, our teachers are excited, and a brand-new season of dancing begins Tuesday, September 8!
Our teachers also gathered for their annual meeting to prepare for the new season, and Miss Gayla and Miss Cara completed their new-teacher orientations. We are thrilled to welcome them to the Jan’s family!
We are so excited to begin Season 68 and fill the studio with music, movement, laughter, and learning again. Thank you for trusting us with your dancers and for being such an important part of the Jan’s family.
Here’s to another memorable season!

Introducing Our Color of the Year: Tiffany Blue
Season 68’s Color of the Year is Tiffany Blue—a vibrant color that reflects our dancers' energy and the sparks that come alive when our dancers learn, grow, and perform together.
Be on the lookout for exclusive Jan’s merchandise featuring our Color of the Year. It is a fun way for dancers and families to show their Jan’s spirit and carry that iconic Season 68 energy wherever they go!
Company Dancers Got an Early Start!
Our Jr. Lyrical Large Group came together for a choreography weekend on August 22 and 23. They worked hard during two days of rehearsals and got an exciting start on their new routine!

Dress Code
As we begin Season 68, we will be placing a renewed focus on dancers wearing the correct attire and shoes for every class.
Our dress code is about much more than appearance. Proper dancewear allows teachers to clearly see a dancer’s alignment and technique so they can make safe, effective corrections. The correct shoes are essential for learning each style properly, while secured hair keeps dancers focused and allows them to move freely. Dressing consistently also helps dancers arrive mentally prepared, promotes discipline, and creates a more focused classroom environment.
Please review the Dress Code for each of your dancer’s classes and make sure everything still fits. We appreciate your help in setting every dancer up for a safe and successful season!
